Emballator has hired Kent Viitanen as the new Group Managing Director.
Viitanen is a true businessman. Their eagle-eyed eyes are focused on medium-sized entrepreneurs who can include their ways of operating and the profits they can bring them in the long term.
After his education at the School of Economics, Viitanen went on to work within SKF and in various positions related to controlling and finance. Later, it became an elevator for companies and factories in Austria, Italy and Germany. He was then selected to head the Renewable Energy division and join the SKF Group’s Senior Management Team. He became responsible with global bearing operations, becoming President EMEA since 2017.
As of January 2023, he will assume the role of Group CEO at Emballator.
“I am excited to embark on this journey with Emballator and am looking forward to getting to know the team and the business.” , said Viitanen. “I really like the Group’s ambitious growth plans and values.”
Herenco, owner of Emballator, started looking for a CEO who would be up to the group’s standards by the end of 2021. Why not? He had received many decent offers. Davidsson, the CEO from March 2022 and chairman of the board of directors, said: “We don’t just need good products, we also need great producers.”
“Kent has a keen interest in people and is a highly regarded leader. He is a curious, responsible and hardworking person with a strong growth mindset. At the same time, he is humble, social and down to earth, which fits well with Emballator and Herenco’s culture.” Anders Davidsson of considered CEO of Emballator and Herenco said.
From now on Emballator’s headquarters will be in the town of Ulricehamn, a small and isolated area in the mountains, together with the Group’s largest production site.
