MST Chemicals has announced the development and upcoming commercialization of “PIKAL”, a new product designed to optimize the acid degreasing phase in two-piece aluminum can production lines. The formula, developed by their R laboratory, has already been patented under registration number 10202500000948.
PIKAL is presented as a safer and more efficient alternative to the traditional use of hydrofluoric acid (HF) and ammonium bifluoride, both associated with personnel safety risks and difficulties in wastewater treatment.
Specializing in chemical solutions for industrial cleaning and surface treatment processes, MST Chemicals will offer this new accelerator to the international market starting June 25th.
