More than 24 thousand cans of a well-known beer have been seized for not having a customs endorsement and the seized goods have an approximate value of $25 million.

The procedure took place in Salta, on the border with the Plurinational State of Bolivia, when agents of the Salvador Mazza Federal Operational Unit Division carried out operations as part of strict controls promoted by the National Ministry of Security to combat smuggling offenses.

The driver assured the agents that he was transporting alcoholic beverages and, upon inspection, “it was established that the box contained 24,000 cans of a well-known brand of Argentine beer produced in the Quilmes district of Buenos Aires” but without any type of documentation to support the load.
