Brazil’s Moose has become the first to produce Cold Brew Nitro in aluminum cans in the country. It is a beverage extracted cold in an artisanal manufacturing process with well-defined characteristics of the Cerrado Mineiro. The brand also maintains a partnership with the multinational Ball in the production of 100% recyclable packaging.

According to Ball’s Marketing and New Business Director for South America, consumers follow the international trend of looking for beverages that provide energy without over-drinking or ingesting anything, and in this sense, ice cream with coffee is sufficient.

“Ball produced approximately one million wine cans in Brazil during 2019. In just one year later, that number increased significantly and grew approximately 15 times. We believe this same repeated growth will happen with canned coffee more and more.” he added.

Gabriel Adamo, founder of Moose, pointed out that in addition to the fact that the can is safer and more practical, it also allows it to be frozen much faster. This is because cold production runs completely smoothly. There is also a great friendliness towards the environment as cans are the least polluting. In case they need to be discarded, they are back on the shelf in 60 days or so.

“Moose came about after a trip to the United States when we realized that Americans viewed canned coffee as a natural energy drink. The drink seemed favorable for Brazil, considering that the country is one of the largest producers and consumers of coffee in the world, and these impressions were confirmed with research.”concluded Adamo.
