Molson Coors Beverage Co. has released its latest growth figures for the first quarter of this year. These results include a boost in the growth of revenues of its best-selling brands, such as Coors Light and Miller Lite, especially in the less restrictive European continent.

The company also posted double-digit revenue and earnings growth in the first quarter of the year. This is the third consecutive quarter in which it has posted gains in both revenues and earnings compared to the same period last year.

For the company’s CEO Gavin Hattersley, these results are supported by continued progress against the initiatives set in motion by the company’s revitalization plan. “Many of our core brands continued to outperform their peers, we again delivered the strongest growth in U.S. carbonated beverages among the major brewers, and our expansion beyond beer continued to move ahead of our $1 billion revenue target,” Hattersley notes. “All were factors in achieving not only a successful quarter, but the highest quarterly gross revenue growth this company has had in more than 10 years,” adds the executive.

Finally, regarding those results, Hattersley adds that they give Molson Coors “continued confidence in our ability to meet our full-year guidance for revenue and earnings growth, which would mark the first time in more than a decade that the company would grow revenue and earnings. profits in a full fiscal year”.
