The American Molson Coors Beverage Company has just launched Arnold Palmer Spiked Lite, a new entrant in the burgeoning FMB segment. It is a new version of the original malt beverage with half tea and half lemonade flavor with only 100 calories and 2 grams of sugar per 12 ounces.
“When we launched Arnold Palmer Spiked nearly four years ago, we introduced drinkers to an enhanced version of the classic Arnold Palmer flavor, and it instantly became a fan favorite,” says Joy Ghosh, vice president of premium beer and up-flavored malt beverages at Molson Coors who adds that “in the true spirit of living a life well played, we’re giving fans of the brand a low-calorie option that doesn’t compromise the classic Arnold Palmer Spiked taste they already know and love.”
“Whether it’s in the backyard or on the back nine, there is a clear consumer desire for complex, flavorful beverages like Arnold Palmer Spiked and Spiked Lite. The numbers don’t lie, and that’s why we believe Spiked Lite is a complement,” Ghosh stresses.
Arnold Palmer Spiked Lite, which clocks in at 4.5% alcohol by volume, is a lighter option to the original Arnold Palmer Spiked and represents the fourth beverage in the Arnold Palmer Spiked franchise.
