The American brand Miller Lite will commemorate its five decades in the market with a nationwide promotional campaign that coincides with International Beer Day. On August 1st, it will give away 50,000 cans for free in 450 bars across the United States, as part of a campaign that pays tribute to its consumers.
The initiative is aimed at those over 21 years of age, who can consult the official website (millerlite.com/find-celebration) for participating locations in each state. The promotion will be activated in selected bars, although an online route will also be enabled for those who cannot attend in person.
In addition to the national distribution, the central event will take place in Milwaukee, home of the Miller Lite brewery. A symbolic event called “Beer Drop” will be organized there, in which six giant cans will descend at 4:50 p.m. (local time), emulating the traditional New Year’s Eve countdown. The broadcast will be live for other time zones in the country.
As part of this anniversary, the company has also launched a limited edition of golden cans and has begun a collaboration with Marcello Hernández, comedian from Saturday Night Live, as an ambassador for the campaign.
The brand emphasizes that the celebration represents an opportunity to thank those who have accompanied Miller Lite over the years, consolidating it as a benchmark in the American brewing sector.
