The independent company, known as MCC Group Ltd., which provides packaging solutions to small businesses, recently introduced its partnership with manufacturer Cuki Cofresco to meet the demand for aluminum foil trays. This alliance will provide a continuous supply of aluminum trays for UK restaurants, supermarkets and other food outlets.

Fulvio Buffa, who holds the position of director at Cuki Cofresco, mentioned that retailers have increasingly opted for food products with sustainable packaging solutions. Thus, the use of trays made of paper and coated with aluminum has become the main option for manufacturers.
It is believed that the Cuki Cofresco-related market continues to expand in the long term, making this supplier a key player in meeting UK demand. This company has one of the few places where equivalent products can be purchased.

Michael McCahery, leader of MCC Group, said that growers and owners in the UK have had to deal with a shortage of sheeting because there has been an increase in demand. This has become a tense situation for the manufacturers who have the responsibility to supply them.

“We are delighted to be working with Cuki, it means our customers across the UK are getting the best product with a reliable supply.” he added.
Cuki Cofresco has been investing in the food preservation sector for over sixty years, in terms of technological research, integrated industrial system and diversification of production according to market demands.
