Lagersmith Can Supply Co. recently held its groundbreaking ceremony on the doorstep of its new $10 million facility in Fremont, Ohio, which will be over 2,300 square feet in size.
In addition, the new plant will create 20 new direct jobs over the next three years and is expected to be fully operational in early 2024. Lagersmith specializes in printing aluminum cans with the most advanced technology. Lagersmith founder Nathan Smith said during the groundbreaking ceremony: “I am proud of the work of our team that made this production facility possible. I expect it will provide a great service to the beverage industry and prosperous job opportunities for decades to come.”
Lagersmith Can Supply Co was founded in 2012 by Nathan Smith, who is passionate about craft beer and packaging. The company is headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri. The company is based in St. Paul, Minnesota, but distributes canning supplies to breweries throughout the Midwest. Based in Minnesota, Lagersmith specializes in printing on aluminum cans using a state-of-the-art direct-to-can printing process. Its regular customers are products such as beer, soft drinks, teas, kombuchas and ready-to-drink cocktails.
