Krones, known for its innovation in packaging technology, has announced its forthcoming acquisition of 100% of Netstal Maschinen AG. This company is located in Naefels, Switzerland and is currently owned by KraussMaffei.
Recently, the two parties involved signed the purchase and sale agreement. However, the completion of the transaction is pending approval under the relevant antitrust law. This acquisition is expected to be fully completed in the first six months of the year.
Krones is a company that provides equipment and technology for the food and beverage industry, including production processes, product filling, packaging and software solutions.
Every day, a large number of glass bottles, cans and PET containers are processed by a machine manufactured by the Krones company. The company is based in Neutraubling, Germany, and has around 17,200 employees around the globe.
Finally, in 2022, Krones’ total earnings were 4,209 million euros. Most of the company’s products are sold abroad, accounting for about 90% of all sales.
