Koenig & Bauer demonstrated its concern for the Vietnam market by announcing its participation in the Print & Pack 2022 trade fair in Ho Chi Minh City, in addition to having a special event for it.

Both events reflect the strong growth of the local industry, which is characterized by an increasing number of international players. Vietnam has attracted the attention of companies from all corners of the world as the number of local and international printing and packaging companies is increasing. This has resulted in an expansion of trade volumes and a remarkable growth in the national economy.

Koenig & Bauer is looking to the future as it observes how the Vietnamese market is slowly recovering from the pandemic. Therefore, they are making the decision to start consolidating a secure environment for their activities in the Vietnamese market.

The past 24 months have seen a significant improvement, mainly through the group’s Chinese subsidiary, in the provision of modern machinery and technologies, together with professional services, to support printing and packaging companies in Vietnam.

The multinational planned two events in Hanoi and Binh Duong where advanced technologies as well as modern equipment for printing high quality products were showcased. These presentations attracted about 100 companies related to the printing industry.

At the first event, HH Dream Printing, a joint venture founded by Hong Kong-based Hung Hing Printing Group, was able to confirm its credentials as one of the leading companies in the local packaging and printing industry.

HH Dream Printing is mainly engaged in the field of toy packaging. Hung Hing has installed six medium- and large-format fast presses with related equipment since 2017 to increase its production capabilities and efficiency. One of these modern presses is already in use in Vietnam, and a second will be installed this year.

On the other hand, last December, Lập Thịnh had the honor of organizing a meeting in Binh Duong, a region in southern Vietnam. It was an invitation to all culture lovers to enjoy these unique activities.

These events served to boost Koenig & Bauer’s profile as a press manufacturer and partner. The visitors were particularly impressed by the cooperation with the two local printers.
