Koenig Bauer, a leading manufacturer of printing presses, has announced the launch of its ambitious artificial intelligence program called ‘AI Empower 25.’ This strategic initiative seeks to consolidate its technological leadership through the advanced incorporation of AI tools and a novel training plan for its employees.
In collaboration with Google, the company has made several AI solutions available to its teams, including the Gemini app as a versatile assistant, Gemini Advanced for integration into Google Workspace, NotebookLM Plus for internal knowledge management, and Google Vids for AI-assisted video creation. These tools seek to optimize productivity and efficiency in daily work.
The program focuses especially on decentralized training, forming executives and “AI Champions” who will be internal references and multipliers. Under the motto “The Power Is You!”, the objective is to actively involve personnel, with early access to technologies and progressive training, in addition to incentivizing innovation with a special prize to be awarded in December.
The CEO, Dr. Stephen Kimmich, emphasized that this commitment reinforces the company’s innovative and competitive capacity in the long term through a responsible and participatory integration of AI.
In parallel, Koenig Bauer Kyana, a unit specializing in digital and AI solutions created in April 2025, develops products such as Kyana Assist and Kyana Data to improve printing and packaging processes, aiming to support customers with advanced digital tools.
