KanKan, known for its personal care, has been innovative in improving its packaging and now uses reusable pumps made from recycled plastic for its soap cans.
The brand worked with Morrama and Two Times Elliot to create an image for the company, as well as useful packaging. These cans are made with a special material, which is tinplate, in order to prevent it from rusting. In addition, they have an easy-access lid for pump insertion.
This plastic pump is easily connected to the can by means of a screw, its main material being recycled polypropylene and a reduced amount of virgin plastic. The company plans to phase out the use of the latter in products gradually.
The cardboard boxes used by the company to ship its products contribute to a reduction in CO² emissions, helping to protect the environment.
Since it saw the light of day in 2019, KanKan aims to make the reuse of products commonplace and thus reduce the excessive use of plastic in households.
Using aluminum to produce items is an excellent way to contribute to the ecology, since 75% of what is produced is still used and can be continuously recycled.
Mondi, a multinational packaging and paper manufacturing company, has decided to partner with Thimonnier, a French machine distributor, in order to address sustainability issues in the field of personal care. This will be evidenced by building recyclable containers specifically designed for products such as liquid soap.
