International Ball has decided to enlist the help of Hollywood celebrity actor Jason Momoa to help promote its aluminum mug. The actor, famous for his roles in Aquaman and Game of Thrones, appeared in an ad for the 100% recyclable drink glass.

“Are you partying? I celebrate. It’s time to reboot and reflect on what was, what could be and what will be. This is the start of the marketing campaign of the multinational company Ball to promote its brand in the United States.

“Very little of it is recycled. This is a ball-shaped aluminum cup. Imagine if most of this cup can replace that. “Let us unite and celebrate a better tomorrow. For a better tomorrow”.

“Ball has a long history of being a brand that people trust, and we are excited to re-enter the B2C market with the retail launch of the innovative and infinitely recyclable Ball Aluminium Cup,” said President Dan Fisher.

“As a company, we are relentlessly focused on enabling the circular economy and finding new ways to help solve the packaging waste crisis with aluminum beverage containers. We look forward to working with our retail partners to further advance this mission,” he adds.

Ball Corporation also announced last May that the first Ball aluminum cup of its kind was available for purchase at major retailers in all 50 U.S. states. The cups are available at more than 18,000 food, drug and mass-market retailers, including Kroger, Target, Albertsons, CVS and others.

The nationwide launch follows the success of a limited pilot that began in 2019. Since then, the cups have been available at select retailers, restaurants and major sports and entertainment venues such as Ball Arena in Denver, SoFi Stadium in Inglewood and Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

This campaign is in addition to others previously carried out by the multinational company, such as the one between the New York Yankees and Anheuser-Busch to bring the cup to Yankee Stadium.
