Iván Cirera is appointed president of the Beverage Can Association in Spain and Portugal.
Ivan Cirera, the new president of the Beverage Can Association, has announced that he will continue to promote the can as the preferred format for beverage packaging in a fully circular economy. The non-profit organization, which is comprised of companies that supply beverage cans in Spain and Portugal, expects to maintain its leading position in the market with Cirera’s commercial, technical and supply chain management expertise.
Cirera replaces Virginia Sanchez, who recently completed her term. Acknowledging the valuable contribution of his predecessor, the new president is committed to continue deploying educational and institutional activities and communication programs to promote the use of cans as a sustainable and efficient solution for beverage packaging.
