IST InTech has announced the retirement of Jason Smith, the company’s Director and Chief Technology Officer (CTO), who stepped down from his role at the end of December 2025 after more than 22 years of service.

Smith joined the company in March 2003, when it was still called Integration Technology Ltd, and played a key role in shaping IST InTech’s technology and long-term strategy. During his tenure as Director and CTO, he drove the company’s engineering capabilities and strengthened its reputation as a global leader in UV curing solutions.

Among his most notable achievements was the development of the SubZero lamp system, an innovative technology that became a benchmark for wide-format printing applications. In addition, he led the company’s technology transition from traditional UV lamp systems to advanced UV LED solutions, positioning IST InTech as a reference for innovation in a constantly evolving market.

Simon Roberts, Managing Director of IST InTech, noted: “Jason’s impact on the company has been profound. His technical vision, leadership, and commitment to innovation have defined what we are today. His influence will remain for many years to come.”

Roberts added: “On behalf of everyone at IST InTech, we would like to thank Jason for his dedication over more than two decades and wish him success and happiness in this new chapter of his life.”
