Integrated Packaging Solutions (IPS), headquartered in Golden, Colorado, has announced the acquisition of Altek Company Tech Products, a recognized supplier of testing equipment for the manufacture of cans and lids.
The transaction, carried out as an asset purchase, includes the Altek brand, product designs, existing orders and service contracts, as well as the company’s inventory. With this acquisition, IPS strengthens its position as a comprehensive supplier of systems and support tools for the packaging and food industries, expanding its offering with complementary maintenance and service solutions that optimize equipment uptime and performance.
IPS plans to preserve and enhance Altek’s legacy, further developing its product portfolio and strengthening relationships with existing customers. The integration of Altek’s operations with the IPS unit in Golden will enable efficiency improvements through digitization and process coordination.
