Intercan is a specialist in can decorating technology and a manufacturer of fermentation machines and decorating equipment based in Milton Keynes, UK. Craft Rollers are experienced in the production of rollers using various specialized compounds. The agreement allows Intercan to diversify its product offering and serve a wider customer base; particularly in the food production and processing arena.
In addition to his current responsibilities at Intercan, Peter Strode will assume the position of Managing Director and Marion Dumbleton will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the business as Operations Director. Founded in 1987 by husband and wife team Trevor and Cathy Stone, Artisan Rollers was initially set up to design manufacture and coat rubber and polyurethane rollers. Since then, the company has expanded to offer a full range of engineering services including a wide variety of materials.

Artisan’s philosophy has always been to provide a high level of product quality with first class customer service. The acquisition of Artisan Rollers is a strategic expansion opportunity for Intercan to secure the supply chain and enhance its current product range.

“Artisan’s expertise in roll production positions Intercan to diversify its product offering and serve a broader customer base that supports our long-term strategic goals.” says Marion Dumbleton.

This is the latest addition to the ever-growing SLAC group of companies and demonstrates SLAC’s continued commitment to the can manufacturing industry.
