The UK Packaging Awards 2025 have revealed the finalists for the two categories sponsored by the Metal Packaging Manufacturers Association (MPMA), where the most innovative metal packaging has captured the attention of the jury.

Jason Galley, CEO of the MPMA and a judge at the event, explained that the award seeks to recognize creativity and innovation, emphasizing how steel and aluminum allow brands to project their identity without losing functionality. According to Galley, among the most prominent trends this year are striking graphic designs and the use of special finishes that enhance visibility at the point of sale and contribute to the commercial growth of brands.

In the High Volume Food & Beverage category, beverage cans were the stars, with proposals that impressed the jury thanks to eye-catching designs and tactile finishes.

Meanwhile, in Decorative & General Line, the finalist packaging stood out for its color, meticulous details, and creative uses in segments such as promotional items, gifts, DIY, home, health, and beauty.
