The International Metal Decorating and Packaging Association has announced that it will hold the IMDPA 2021 Conference October 5-7 at the Hilton Oak Brook Hills Resort & Conference Center in Chicago.

IMDPA is composed of 500 members representing more than 200 companies to promote the interests of lithographers, metal decorators, can makers, designers and trade suppliers, etc.

This year’s conference is perhaps one of the most important events the organization has ever held. He also believes that “the speakers we have chosen will provide a wealth of knowledge and information that you can’t find anywhere else”.

Kicking off the general session on October 6 will be Daniel Abramowicz, chief technology officer at Crown Holdings, who will discuss the commercialization of digital printing for two-piece beverage cans. She will be followed by motivational speaker Lisa Ryan who will address Manufacturing Engagement: Smart Strategies for Keeping Your Top Talent.

The founder and Chief Appreciation Strategist of Grategy, LLC, will then discuss ways to develop and enhance employee and customer engagement to help retain employees.

This will be followed by the luncheon where the IMDPA Member of the Year, Decorators of the Year and Excellence in Quality winners will be recognized. The next day’s general session will kick off with a keynote presentation by Gary Hemphill, managing director of research at Beverage Marketing Corporation, who will take a detailed look at trends in the US beverage market.
