Industry veteran Andrew McCauley assumes the role of CEO with immediate effect
February 17, 2026 – Industrial Physics (the “Company”), a leading provider of test and measurement instrumentation, today announced the appointment of Andrew McCauley as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), succeeding Barry Lyon, with immediate effect.

Andrew McCauley brings nearly three decades of leadership experience in precision technologies and industrial solutions. He also has a strong track record of driving growth, operational excellence, and value creation through disciplined strategy execution, commercial excellence, and team development.
Most recently, he served as Group President at Ralliant, where he led strategic initiatives and operational execution across advanced sensing and technology platforms. Prior to his time at Ralliant, Andrew held various senior leadership roles at Fortive Corporation, including Group President of Sensing Technologies and President of Qualitrol. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech and an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
