Mumbai-based Indian pharmaceutical packaging specialist Kaisha Packaging has successfully supplied more than 2 billion doses of flip-top aluminium seals used to package COVID-19 vaccines.
In particular, Kaisha Packaging has not only successfully met this challenge, but has also expanded its capacity by more than 450 million parts to over 1.2 billion parts delivered annually in the past year.
For Rishad Dadachanji, Director, Kaisha Group of Companies, he says, “Kaisha is prepared to meet any supply challenge, especially given the current circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic”.
This seal is used as a closure for the injection vials during the vaccination campaign and is an essential part of the vaccine package that ensures tamper-proof delivery.
