Mumbai-based Indian pharmaceutical packaging specialist Kaisha Packaging has successfully supplied more than 2 billion doses of flip-top aluminum seals used to package COVID-19 vaccines.
Specifically, Kaisha Packaging has not only successfully met this challenge, but also expanded its capacity by more than 450 million pieces to exceed 1.2 billion pieces per year supplied during the past year.
For Rishad Dadachanji, director of Kaisha Group of Companies, states that “Kaisha is prepared to meet any supply challenge, especially considering the current circumstances surrounding the COVID-19″ pandemic.
This seal is used as a closure for injection vials during the vaccination campaign and is an essential part of the vaccine package that ensures tamper-proof delivery.
