Among the Decorators of the Year, Brian Bates of Reynolds Services Inc., and Bruce Book and Earl Ireland of Crown Holdings Inc., were recognized for their excellence in creativity, technical precision, and contributions to innovation in can decoration.

In the Packagers of the Year category, the awards went to Greg Bortner, a lithography specialist at Trivium Packaging in Youngstown, Ohio, and the Trivium Packaging Argentina team, for their innovative work on the Conejo Verde wine bottles, which combine functionality and attractive design.

The Excellence in Quality awards highlighted projects that demonstrate high standards of manufacturing and quality control, reflecting the importance of technical precision and innovation in the production of safe and sustainable metal packaging.

Johannes Schick, spokesperson for IMDPA, emphasized that “these awards not only celebrate individual and collective talent but also inspire the entire industry to continue raising standards in metal decoration and packaging, promoting innovation and excellence in every project.”

The award winners represent the best of the global metal packaging industry, and their achievements reflect the combination of creativity, technical skill, and commitment to quality that defines the sector today.
