has relocated its UK operations from Kettering and Newmarket to a larger facility in Cambridgeshire, England.

IM GROUP’s expanded presence in the UK is driven by increased business in the area since the well-known UK brands Rexson and Vale-tech became part of IM GROUP in 2019. The new 270 square meter facility will serve as the central hub for the group’s sales, customer service and maintenance operations in the United Kingdom. Martin Black, Managing Director of IM GROUP for the UK, said: “The additional space will enable us to enhance our service offering to our UK clientele. In addition, the strategic location between Rexson’s former base in Kettering, Northamptonshire, and Vale-tech’s former location in Newmarket, Suffolk, will bring the two teams together, optimizing logistics, resource management and communication.”

Specializing in customizable integrated dosing systems, filling lines, process engineering equipment and turnkey plant projects, IM GROUP supplies various industries such as paints, coatings, inks, chemicals, adhesives, packaging, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and textiles, among others, through its brands Inkmaker, Rexson, Vale-tech, Swesa, Teko, Tecnopails and IEC+. With a global presence in 15 countries on five continents, the group works with a list of Fortune 500 companies such as Boeing, Sherwin Williams, PPG, Akzo Nobel, Avery Denison, International Paper and Tetra Pak, among others.

“The growing customer base in the UK has necessitated a restructuring of our brands to support expansion efforts. Consolidating our operations into a single larger warehouse fits our logistical and financial objectives, providing customers with a centralized operations center for maintenance and parts”said Christophe Rizzo, Managing Director EMEA and Americas of IM GROUP, emphasizing the strategic move.
