The Aluminum Extruders Council (AEC) and The Aluminum Association have jointly organized the Aluminum Safety Summit. The event will be held November 9-10, 2021 at the Loews Chicago O’Hare Hotel in Rosemont, Illinois.
According to organizers, it will be the safety event of the year for aluminum industry leaders and EHS professionals. This year, the Aluminum Safety Summit will welcome participation in the National Safety Council’s General Sessions program helping to network and discuss the latest safety developments in aluminum production as well as processing.
Four concurrent tracks will run in parallel, covering safety technologies, behavioural safety, leadership and safety culture, best practices and safety standards, casthouse safety and health and safety management, among other issues. Safety Summit will be sponsored by Rio Tinto Aluminium and Granco Clark.
