Hoffmann Neopac has signed a conditional agreement to sell the assets of its tinplate business to the Massilly Group. Massilly is a company specializing in metal packaging based in Mâcon (France)
The transaction is pending conditions to close the agreement and will be finalized on March 31, 2025.
After the sale, the shares of CM Packaging B.V. in Dronten (Netherlands) will be transferred to the Massilly Group, with all supply guarantees for customers. The production of metal packaging in Thun (Switzerland) will be gradually reduced until mid-2025.
This agreement is a milestone for Hoffmann Neopac, which after 135 years in the tin sector, will now focus its work on the tube packaging business, with the aim of generating greater value for customers in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and dental sectors.
