It sells well-known brands such as Estrella Galicia and Cabreiroá. The Galician company, Hijos de Rivera, is in the top 100 of the best European companies to work for. Specifically, it has just consolidated its position in 46th place in the category of companies with more than 500 employees. A recognition that also accredits it as one of the best companies to work for in Spain.
The famous Galician company, belonging to the Food and Beverage sector, has slipped into the ranking of the Best Companies to Work For in Europe. The Great Place to Work® consultancy, a leader in building and certifying Great Places to Work, has recently published the awards for the Best Companies to Work For in Europe.
Specifically, the Ranking Best Workplaces Europe 2021 analysed more than 3,000 companies of different sizes and sectors from 36 different countries. For the fifth consecutive year, the United Kingdom was once again crowned as the country with the highest number of companies in the ranking with a total of 26, followed by Italy and France with 20, Turkey with 18, and Germany, Ireland and Switzerland, which together with Spain each have 16 distinguished companies.
There is another piece of positive news to add, Estrella Galicia is once again the most valued and preferred brand among Spaniards this year. The Galician maintains its dominance in 10 autonomous regions and in the cities of Ceuta and Melilla. Last year, 32% of Spaniards chose Estrella Galicia as their favourite beer, and this year this percentage has increased to 38.48%.
