One more year Heineken Mexico has donated 15,000 cans of canned drinking water to the Azcapotzalco mayor’s office in Mexico City as part of the ‘For Mexico, For Everyone’ program. The campaign, which has been running for six years, aims to support people in vulnerable situations who have been affected during the pandemic.

The company has also delivered a total of 800,000 cans of drinking water across the country since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. “At Heineken Mexico, we know that the ‘Providing a Better World’ campaign is everyone’s job. That’s why, for 131 years, our commitment to society and the environment has been to generate a positive impact on communities, which is why we are proud to have initiatives that allow us to reinforce our commitment to Mexicans by bringing such a valuable resource to every corner of the country,” said Gerardo Soria, regional manager of Corporate Affairs for Heineken Mexico.

The company started donating cans of drinking water six years ago as part of its global ‘Delivering a Better World’ strategy and has already donated around 800,000 cans of water in 30 states to supply vaccination centres and support frontline health workers.
