The company Heineken Meoqui has announced that it has just obtained the Bronze certification of the TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) work system after three years of operations.

TPM is a methodology similar to Lean manufacturing but adapted to Heineke and whose way of working is applied globally. Heineken’s TPM level consists of four, Iron, Bronze, Silver and Gold, of which it obtained the second.

It should be added that all certifications obtained are based on the TPM system, such as ISO 9001. According to Óscar Rodríguez, responsible for TPM, the plant’s achievement is remarkable, since, compared to other factories of the company in the world, it was achieved in record time. “Other operations take up to nine years to achieve this accomplishment, but we did it in three years. This speaks to our ability to adapt to the methodology and the commitment of the people,” he added.

Although Heineken Meoqui obtained the support of other plants of the company, both the operational culture of the staff made it possible to obtain the bronze level. Finally, both industrialists will be looking to obtain the silver level in the near future.
