At Grafometal we have always been very sensitive to the environment and sustainability, and we have been working for years on our green agenda, defining and above all implementing concrete actions to reduce the carbon footprint generated by our activity.
As a first significant action, in 2019 in addition to replacing traditional lighting with LEDs, we occupied all the roofs we had available at that time with photovoltaic panels.
In 2022 we carried out a major expansion of our facilities, which allowed us to complete a second important action with the installation of new generation photovoltaic panels on the 4000m2 of the new roofs, including not so traditional solutions such as also covering the parking canopy in order to increase the Tn of CO2 that we stopped emitting.
We currently have 1400 photovoltaic panels installed that generate 0.5 Mwh of energy, which means that we stop emitting approximately 400Tn of CO2 per year into the atmosphere.
