Fremont Brewing, a Seattle-based craft beer company, has partnered with Alaska Airlines to create an exclusive IPA for the airline. This beer will be available free of charge in First and Premium classes, and will also be available for purchase in the main cabin. In addition, some lounges will also serve this delicious beer.

The famous craft brewery, Fremont Brewing, located in Seattle, collaborated with Alaska Airlines to create a series of blends and test them at 30,000 feet before deciding which one would be chosen. In the end, both companies opted for the India pale ale with bright orange tones, melon and tropical notes brewed by this brewery.

According to Todd Traynor-Corey, general manager of guest products for Alaska Airlines, the “Cloud Cruiser” is a premium beverage created from the marriage of two well-known and well-loved brands in the Pacific Northwest. This beverage is intended to become a high quality addition to its premium range.
Cloud Cruiser craft beer is available exclusively on Alaska flights and in Alaska lounges. Early customers who have tried this new premium West Coast beer have given rave reviews and are eager to fly with Alaska again to enjoy another can.

Todd Traynor-Corey, general manager of guest products for Alaska Airlines, excitedly announced the creation of a new premium beverage called “Cloud Cruiser.” This beverage is the result of a collaboration between two very popular and beloved brands in the Pacific Northwest. Traynor-Corey mentioned that they are excited to add this beverage to their variety of premium options for passengers.

“The only place in the world you’ll be able to find this unique craft beer is if you fly with Alaska or in one of our lounges. We’ve already received feedback from the first guests who have tried our new premium West Coast product, who say they can’t wait to fly with us again and order another can of Cloud Cruiser.” he added.

Meanwhile, Matt Lincecum, creator and owner of Fremont Brewing, announced the release of Cloud Cruiser’ IPA, a beer brewed with a special blend of carefully selected Washington malts and cultivars to maintain freshness throughout the flight. According to Lincecum, this beer was created using the experience gained through years of supplying beer to Alaska flights across the country. The philosophy behind this creation is simple: fresh beer is important and therefore a great effort has been made to ensure that it reaches consumers in its best condition.

The can, which has a unique and exclusive design, features an image of an Alaska Airlines 737-8 MAX aircraft flying through the clouds over a retro landscape of snow-capped mountains, trees and water representing the state of Washington.

Alaskan and Fremont artists pooled their creative skills to work together to design a co-branded can. They worked together from the beginning, tossing ideas around until they reached the final version of the design on the drawing board.

For his part, Jonny Mack, creative director of the Alaska studio, added that the collaboration between Alaska and Fremont goes beyond the illustrations on the can, as both brands share values and joined forces to create a unique product that they hope will make customers happy. “We think a design inspired by a national park with one of our aircraft, in the colors of Alaska, speaks to our roots in the Pacific Northwest. The creativity and thoughtfulness that went into the design of this can is one more example of how we bring our value of being remarkable to life.” he added.

According to Dan Stuckey, graphic director at Fremont Brewing, collaborating with the Alaska Airlines team to create the Cloud Cruiser can has been a very rewarding experience. The can depicts an iconic airplane and the airline’s logo in a beautiful sunset over the Cascade mountain range, and a wide range of colors have been used to bring it to life. Everyone at Fremont Brewing had a great time working on this project.
