Princes Group has decided to recall certain canned bean products due to the possibility that they may contain small rubber balls, making them unsafe to eat.
Several well-known brands, such as Branston beans and other bean products sold in supermarkets such as Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Asda, are being recalled due to a problem that could affect their quality or safety.
During the production process, 2.5 cm rubber balls are used in its manufacture. Princes recommends that customers avoid consuming the affected lots and return the products for a full refund.
The list of damaged items includes:
-Asda Baked Beans in Tomato Sauce – 200g It is recommended that products with lot code 3313 and 3314 be consumed before November 2025.
-Asda mixed bean salad – 400g. It is recommended for use before October 2027, identified by lot codes 3293 and 3303.
-Branston baked beans in tomato sauce – 4 x 410 g wrapped in plastic. It is recommended to be consumed before December 2025 and it is specified that the product corresponds to lot code 3338.
-Sainsburys baked beans and pork sausages in tomato sauce – 400 g. It is recommended for use before November 2025 and the lot code is 3312.
-Tesco mixed bean salad in vinaigrette – 400g. Best before October 2025, lot code 3299.
-Tesco baked beans and pork sausage in tomato sauce – 395g. It is recommended to be consumed before November 2025.
