Novelis is once again partnering with Mercedes Benz Stadium in the “Recycle for Good” program. This initiative turns recycled aluminum cans into funds to build Habitat for Humanity houses for families in need in the American city of Atlanta (Georgia).
Atlanta Habitat for Humanity says it takes 3.7 million cans to build a house.
Rosalyn Merrick, president and CEO of Atlanta Habitat for Humanity, finds it extraordinary that the cans can do good in this way.
And she adds that anyone who wants to can participate with this partnership: “There is room for everyone to make a contribution, whether they want to come and volunteer at our construction site or come and volunteer at our store. If they want to make a donation to support our work, there are many ways to help and this is one more.”
