Fabio assumes the position at the world leader in sustainable aluminum packaging after stints at Johnson & Johnson, Whirlpool and Henkel.
Ball Corporation announces that Fabio Mincarelli Monfrin has taken over as director of corporate communications and community relations for the aluminum can division in South America. With more than 20 years of experience and a wide range of communication leadership roles, Fabio brings a track record of activities in a variety of companies, including Johnson & Johnson, Whirlpool, Schincariol and, most recently, Henkel. Journalist and publicist by training, with an MBA in communication and marketing, he assumes the position with responsibility for the South American market (Argentina, Chile and Paraguay, in addition to Brazil).
In his new position, Fabio will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies and solutions for internal and external communication, community and governmental relations for Ball, including the management of QUIEROLATA, a social movement in favor of the use of aluminum created by the company to connect directly with the end consumer and promote awareness of the sustainable advantages of this type of packaging.
In his previous experiences, Fabio has led internal and external communications initiatives, working in strategic planning, crisis management, change management, social responsibility and community relations, public relations and corporate affairs. With proven expertise in Ball’s strategic areas such as community relations, social responsibility and support for diversity and inclusion, Fabio has also played a global role as a D&I ambassador at Henkel, planning and implementing initiatives to promote an inclusive culture.
He graduated from Universidade Metodista de Piracicaba and holds an MBA from Escola Superior de Marketing e Comunicação de Campinas. In addition to his professional career, he is married, has two children and is passionate about photography.
