For the second consecutive year, the multinational Eviosys succeeded in maintaining its targets for reducing CO2 and VOC emissions. In addition, the company achieved EcoVadis Gold certification, placing it in the top 2% of suppliers evaluated for recognition in 2022.

“In 2022, we achieved EcoVadis Gold certification for our sustainability credentials. This recognition places Eviosys in the top 2% out of more than 100,000 suppliers evaluated by EcoVadis and recognizes us as a global powerhouse in sustainability.” added the company.

As part of the social responsibility and sustainability initiative, Eviosys has also just signed an agreement with the United Nations Global Compact, the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative. Through this, we seek to control scope 3 emissions by introducing a new code of conduct for suppliers that, for the first time, requires our partners to comply with the program’s sustainability principles and align themselves with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations Global Compact.

On the other hand, the multinational company managed to exceed by far its annual reduction target of 3.1% by production of millions of standardized cans. With a cumulative reduction of 15% since 2020, Eviosys is already ahead of the 20% reduction plan for 2027. This progress, achieved in 2022, represents almost double the impressive emissions reductions already achieved and described in the 2021 report, and puts the company on track to reach the Net Zero (Zero Emissions) target by 2050, as set out in the Paris Agreement.
