It is one of the biggest shows in the world in the wonderful city of Rio. This year’s Rio Carnival is being held from April 20-30 this year, the world’s largest carnival is a unique experience that attracts millions of people and Every Can Counts is ready.

A team of 60 recycling ambassadors remain at work at the Rio 2022 Carnival to collect and sort 100% of the beverage cans. Every Can Counts will thus keep the cycle running in the world’s biggest show until April 30 in the parade area of the Sambódromo in Marquês de Sapucaí.

Another new development is a new partnership with the Association of Collectors of Jardim Gramacho (ACAMJG) and the Independent League of Samba Schools of Rio de Janeiro (LIESA), Cada Lata Conta will be at the Rio 2022 Carnival as part of a remarkable project to ensure that each beverage can is collected and recycled separately. The ‘tasters’, equipped with Every Can Counts backpacks will raise awareness of the benefits of recycling and encourage more people to recycle their empties while having fun at the carnival.

By means of banners, totems and biodegradable bags, the objective of Cada Lata Conta remains the same as always, to collect and sort 100% of the beverage cans consumed, as well as to raise awareness of the importance of recycling, sustainability and proper waste disposal.
