Envases Group expands its aluminum can production facilities: now in Texas
The Mexican company, Envases Group, announced in late 2020, its plans to establish its first aluminum can production and distribution center in Texas, specifically in the city of Waco.
According to, it has announced in different media in the southern United States, the company will invest US $ 100 million and will have the capacity to manufacture up to 3 billion aluminum cans a year.
The new plant will manufacture aluminum beverage containers for commonly used beverages for soft drinks, beers, energy drinks, teas and non-carbonated beverages.
The decision to establish the plant in Waco has been studied extensively and carefully, as Javier Pietrini, vice president of the Aluminum Division of Envases, pointed out.
“Waco is an ideal location for Envases Group from a logistics perspective as a procurement point, from a quality standpoint due to the highly skilled workforce and from an accessibility perspective for our customers.”
The company comprises 66 production plants, 7 distribution centers, a design center and three R&D laboratories in Mexico, Colombia, Guatemala, Panama, Brazil, Uruguay, United States, Denmark, Sweden and South Korea.
