Enpack Packaging Company announced the appointment of Tim Clarke as new CEO Europe. Clarcke will be in charge of Enpack Packaging for Europe. Enpack is one of China’s leading manufacturers of Easy Open metal packaging products supplying the food and beverage markets.
Clarcka has more than 25 years of experience in the metal packaging industry. For 26 years he headed Ardagh Group as Strategic Development Director – Metal DivisionStrategic Development Director – Metal Division for the United Kingdom, although he has held many other positions throughout his long career.
Ardagh Metal is the metal packaging division of Ardagh Group, a leader in container packaging. The multinational contributes approximately US$6 billion of the group’s US$9 billion in sales and operates 75 of the group’s 110 plants in 25 countries. Ardagh Metal is the market leader in metal packaging and holds leading positions in the beverage, food, seafood, aerosol, nutrition and paints and coatings sectors.
Enpack Group is a producer of Peel Off, Easy Open, beverage closures, sanitary closures and similar products. After several recent acquisitions in China and significant investments made with a view to achieving the highest quality standards, the company became one of the two largest producers of metal caps in China. It is the number one producer of POE. Enpack Packaging is listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange and will progressively continue its global expansion. In the last year, the company sold more than 6.5 billion items, with exports accounting for almost 30%.
