Leading packaging solutions company Emballator has unveiled its recent acquisition of Avez, a strategic move aimed at expanding its presence in Northern Europe.

Based in Wattrelos, France, Avez is a major company supplying a variety of customers in different sectors, such as the chemical and paint industry. Its specialization is the production of metal containers made of industrial tinplate designed for hazardous materials. The company was established in 1950 by the Avez family. Second-generation brothers Antoine and Thomas Avez will remain with the company for a period of time to ensure a smooth transition.

“The purchase of Avez is a response to our customers’ requests to expand our offering to them, both in product variety and geographic reach. Avez’s customers and its wide range of products manufactured in Northern France will be a great complement to Emballator,” says Christian Höglund, in charge of Emballator Paint & Construction in Northern Europe.

Thomas Avez, Avez’s commercial director, expressed his satisfaction at joining a group that shares the same values and goals. He takes comfort in knowing that his legacy will be carried on by passionate and committed individuals.

Avez’s technical director, Antoine Avez, says that by being part of Emballator they have the ability to offer their customers a variety of new and sustainable solutions.

Christian Höglund, leader of the Emballator Group, expressed his satisfaction and pride in the acquisition of the Avez company and thanked the Avez family for their trust in the hope of a successful and collaborative future.
