EGA Spectro Alloys recently celebrated the opening of its new aluminum recycling plant in Rosemount, Minnesota. The 90,000-square-foot facility has an annual production capacity of up to 120 million pounds of recycled aluminum billets, using aluminum scrap as raw material.

This expansion represents a significant step in the company’s commitment to sustainability and the circular economy. In addition, the plant is expected to create up to 50 full-time jobs once it reaches its full production capacity, which is expected in the first quarter of 2026.

EGA Spectro Alloys, founded in 1973 and acquired in 2024 by Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA), is a leading producer of recycled aluminum alloys in the Midwestern United States.
