Ecoembes has presented “Bécosmée”, a new awareness campaign that uses the visual and narrative language of luxury to highlight the value of recycling metal packaging.
The campaign revolves around a fictional jewelry brand created by Ecoembes. Under the name “Bécosmée” —an anagram of Ecoembes— the initiative shows how recycled materials such as aluminum or steel can be transformed into valuable objects, like rings, pendants, or bracelets. The pieces have been crafted in a Barcelona atelier and could be produced on a larger scale in a later phase.
The campaign spot is presented as a traditional jewelry advertisement, with a carefully curated aesthetic, sensory tone, and sophisticated atmosphere. What initially appears to be a jewelry box transforms into a yellow container, reinforcing the message that well-managed waste can have new lives.
Ecoembes’ Communication and Marketing Director, Nieves Rey, explained that the campaign’s objective is to show how waste, far from being garbage, can be transformed into surprising products. “We want people to understand the value of recycling, not as an obligation, but as an opportunity to create something beautiful and useful”, she pointed out.
