Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) has announced that Gulfood Manufacturing, the world’s most influential annual food and beverage manufacturing event, will take place from November 7-9, 2023. This year’s edition, the largest in history, will bring together more than 2,000 exhibitors, including the world’s largest food and beverage brands, who will fill 15 halls.
On the other hand, outside the exhibition grounds, more than 100 catering industry decision-makers and leading global experts will discuss the latest trends in the sector and establish strategies to seize business opportunities and address the challenges facing the industry.
The industry’s leading trade show, which will celebrate its 10th anniversary next year, continues to attract the interest of key production players in the processing, packaging, ingredients, supply chain solutions, and control and automation sectors to chart the path to a more sustainable, resilient, agile and efficient future.
With COP28 taking place just weeks after the show, Gulfood Manufacturing will redouble its long-standing focus on how the food and beverage manufacturing industry is integrating sustainable practices and processes (such as sustainable packaging), reducing food waste, introducing energy-efficient machinery with a lower carbon footprint and driving the production of traceable, ethical and transparent food.
Gulfood Manufacturing 2023 will delve into topics that examine how AI, robotics and automation are driving an evolution in efficiency, digitizing the food and beverage manufacturing sector, spurring breakthrough innovation, and those that raise the benchmark of excellence across the industry.
Trixie LohMirmand, executive vice president of the Dubai World Trade Centre, commented: “Gulfood Manufacturing is the premier industry event in the Middle East and North Africa region, firmly in the top tier of global industry events and the only annual event of its kind in the world. This event comes at a critical time for the global food and beverage sector, which is trying to balance rising inflation and input costs with downward pressure on prices from retailers and consumers, while facing the imperative of making food production more sustainable. By harnessing innovative technologies and driving efficiencies, the industry can achieve this balance and continue to evolve and reach new heights.”
Reflecting Gulfood Manufacturing’s position at the pinnacle of the food production industry, many of the world’s leading ingredient brands have already confirmed their participation in this year’s edition, including Apical (Platinum Sponsor of Gulfood Manufacturing 2023), Cargill, Givaudan, Wilmar, Kerry, Dohler, Orkila, Fanar, Takasago and many more. Meanwhile, in the packaging and processing segment, global powerhouses such as Tetra Pak, GEA, Krones, Husky, Sidel, Ishida, TNA, SIG and Rieckermann will also be in attendance.
