The Coors Light brand has launched a ‘blessed’ beer with anti-demoniac qualities for the premiere of the new Foo Fighters horror movie. Studio 666, the first film by American rock band Foo Fighters, has already been released outside the U.S. and pays tribute to 80’s horror films.

The film was shot when the band led by former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl was recording their latest studio album Medicine at Midnight, which was released two years ago.

During the recording of that album, which took place in a mansion located in Encino (California), Grohl and company witnessed multiple strange phenomena and, inspired by their overwhelming paranormal experiences, decided to make their first film. In the film, which amalgamates horror and comedy, the band has to deal with supernatural forces that threaten both the completion of their album and the lives of its members.

Precisely Coors Light is one of Grohl and his bandmates’ favorite beers, the American brand has decided to launch a new limited edition beer ‘Coors Almighty Light’ that boasts anti-demoniac properties, according to the recently launched promotional campaign.

The beer, which will be marketed for a limited time, was brewed with water from the Rocky Mountains that was then blessed by a spiritual guru.
