The American alcoholic beverage company Constellation Brands announced that Nicholas Fink will assume the role of president and chief executive officer (CEO) effective April 13, 2026, replacing Bill Newlands, who is retiring after leading the company since 2019.
Fink comes from his position as CEO at Fortune Brands Innovations and has been a member of Constellation’s board of directors since 2021, ensuring continuity in management. During the transition, Newlands will remain as a strategic advisor for several months to ensure an orderly handover.
The appointment comes at a critical time for Constellation Brands, known for brands such as Corona and Modelo, as it faces changes in consumption patterns and market pressures. Analysts note that, given Fink’s prior knowledge of the company, the corporate strategy is expected to maintain its course without radical changes.
