The multinational Coca Cola Company has announced that it has withdrawn certain products from its Minute Maid line from the U.S. market due to the risk that they contain metal objects such as bolts that could be harmful to health.
According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the recalled products were distributed in the states of Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New York, North Carolina, Maryland, Virginia, Maine and New Jersey. The FDA has alerted consumers to be vigilant and check if they have any of these products in their homes as they could have stored some of these products without consuming them in their homes because their expiration date is long, in most cases until the end of 2022.
Specifically, the recalled products are Minute Maid Berry Punch, 59 Fl. onz. (1.8 QT) 1.75 L, Minute Maid Strawberry Lemonade, 59 Fl. oz. (1.8 Qt) 1.75L and Minute Maid Fruit Punch, 59 oz. oz. (1.8 QT) 1.75 L.
