The bottling company Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) achieved last year a net profit of 988 million euros, a figure that almost doubles that of the previous period, according to the company’s statement to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).

In addition, revenues for the 2021 financial year increased by 30% to 13,763 million euros, of which 11,584 million euros corresponded to the Coca-Cola business in Iberia, where it grew by 9%.

Damian Gammell, CEO of Coca-Cola Europacific Partners notes that 2021 was an extraordinary year for CCEP. “We are a stronger, more diverse business, based on great people, great service and great beverages, done in a sustainable way. Solid revenue recovery, shared value gains, operating margin expansion and remarkable free cash flow generation demonstrate our strong performance in a challenging environment. Our results also reflect the successful acquisition and integration of Coca-Cola Amatil, a fantastic business that we acquired at the right time, as we look forward to an even brighter future together,” he adds.

“We are well positioned going into FY22 and beyond. In the near term, we expect to see further volume and mix recovery as we manage our key pricing levers, promotional spending and drive efficiencies across our business, collectively with the goal of mitigating inflationary pressures,” he concludes.
