Create a sugar-free drink as close as possible to Coke Classic. This is what has prompted Coca-Cola Australia to launch a new look and a new sugar-free recipe. The new flavour, which optimises Coca-Cola’s existing sugar-free flavours and existing ingredients, has started to hit Australian shelves and is supported by a new can design.
This refreshed proposition is the result of years of innovation to deliver a new and improved taste as well as a firm commitment by the company to reduce sugar across its portfolio by 20% by 2025. In addition, the launch of the reformulation will be supported by an integrated marketing campaign, asking Australians if “is this the best Coke ever?”.
We know there continues to be a growing appetite for sugar-free options and as people’s tastes and preferences have changed, so have we,” says Kate Miller, marketing director for Coca-Cola Australia. ” to which he added that the reaction of Australians in taste tests has been positive.
“Since Coca-Cola No Sugar launched in Australia in 2017, the product has seen significant growth and we continue to innovate to further drive this growth. We believe this is the best Coca-Cola ever and we’re excited to find out if Australians think the same,” adds Miller.
The new Coca-Cola No Sugar recipe, design and campaign has already been launched in Europe, Latin America, Asia and North America.
