The CFA, the trade body of the French aerosol industry, announced that the current president, Nathalie Thys, will step down at the end of March 2023.
Specifically, she will be replaced by Laurent Flond, head of the scientific packaging center for dispensers and applicators at L’Oréal. Marion Grebert, CLIMALIFE sales manager, will become the new vice president.
Jean Blottiere, the head of the CFA, let it be known that Thys, who had been in charge of sustainability at GlaxoSmithKline, decided to end his career by opting to take early retirement since “has decided to continue his journey to other challenges by entering early retirement.” According to Blottiere, the ComEx grouping has hired new staff so that the CFA (Comité Français des Actuaires) can expand its services to meet the present and future needs of all members.
The Board of Directors showed its gratitude to Nathalie Thys for all the years she has been supporting the CFA. “The entire Executive Committee thanked Nathalie Thys for her many years of support to the CFA and welcomed the appointments of Marion and Laurent and thanked them both for their commitment to our industry. The face-to-face General Assembly on Thursday, April 20 will allow adhering members to familiarize themselves with the new governance of the CFA.”
