Celsius Holdings, Inc. has announced the appointment of Eric Hanson as its new president and chief operating officer (COO), effective March 24, 2025. Hanson brings nearly 30 years of experience in the food and beverage industry to support the company’s strategy to establish itself as a leader in the functional beverage sector, which continues to show strong growth potential.
Hanson will lead key functions that will drive growth and optimize synergies with Celsius’ strategic partners. Most recently, he was senior vice president of strategic partnerships at PepsiCo, where he managed a portfolio of brands with annual revenues in excess of $3 billion.
He explained that Celsius is leading the growth of the energy drinks category. Its expanding portfolio responds to consumer trends. “I look forward to collaborating with the team to integrate this portfolio and accelerate innovation and growth.”
Eric Hanson was senior vice president of strategic partnerships at PepsiCo, where he led the integration of Rockstar Energy Drink following the brand’s acquisition. With a distinguished career at PepsiCo since 1997, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University.
